La Liga has partnered with the Hong Kong Youth Centre in La Liga to create the first La Liga football school in Hong Kong

La Liga and la Liga hong Kong Football Academy Association Limited have announced the establishment of the first Hong Kong La Liga football school, which will bring la Liga grassroots training systems to local young players aged 6 to 18, with plans to end the 2024/25 season.

The partnership will be led by two retired Hong Kong players, current coaches Mr Chan Chi Kang and Mr Kwok Ka Nao, who will work with the Technical Director from La Liga to support all aspects of sports affairs, coaching training and the introduction of the La Liga training system.

Eduard Castell, international representative of the Spanish Football League (Hong Kong, China), said: "We are very happy that this plan has been implemented and hope to help the development of grassroots football in Hong Kong. Through la Liga's training system and comprehensive training covering the needs of players such as sports and psychological support, we strive to demonstrate our determination to improve football in Hong Kong and at the grassroots level. ”

Juan Florit, Manager of Grassroots Football Technology and Sport Affairs at La Liga, said: "Grassroots football has a lot of potential in Asia. The partnership includes different programmes that, in addition to improving players' athletic performance, will also work with local organisations to promote an integrated and healthy lifestyle through sports.

The main stadium of La Liga Football School in Hong Kong, China is located on the 4th floor of the Junction Centre, 272 Chatham Road North, Hung Hom, providing an excellent environment for local youth to conduct basic football training, in addition, the four sides of the venue are cushioned to ensure the safety of students.
