[Art critic Shen Jingchun believes]

I have been in a relationship with the painter Wang Qing for many years, and he is a Humble and erudite, cautious in words and deeds, and a righteous Qilu Hanzi. This is related to his lifelong association with Mozhu, obsessively loving bamboo, and immersing himself in studying and learning Mozhu culture. He retired at the age of 60 and began to write, devoting himself to teaching himself to write bamboo. At the beginning of banqiao (ink bamboo), after the division of the Mei Dao people Wu Zhen, Xia Chang ink bamboo pen meaning. Taking the ancients as a teacher, boldly absorb the essence of traditional ink bamboo in previous generations. Learning from the ancients is not muddy, breaking the law is not violating the law, carrying forward the right path, abiding by the right innovation, and finally gaining results. With the pen, the breath is introverted, implying tension; with ink, it is clear and elegant, and the thickness and lightness are suitable; the composition, with simplicity and complexity, is dense and exquisite, and has become its own style.

In the year of ear shun, I am still intoxicated between pen and ink, and I continue to cultivate every day, a danqing, and innocence remains.
