Since the listing of the eighth generation of golf, because of the car machine system lag, running smooth and other issues, widely complained about by consumers, Volkswagen has also received a large number of complaints, but this problem is about to be solved.
Recently, Volkswagen officially announced that it will carry out major upgrades and updates to the overseas 2022 Golf models, at present, the software upgrade will cover all models of the eighth generation of golf, and the latest production of new models will also be upgraded in hardware, and the upgraded system can be increased by 25% in terms of operating speed.

It is understood that the updated "MIB 3" car machine system will eliminate some redundant display interfaces, which can more conveniently display common functions such as navigation and weather.
The upgrade package also improves the recognition rate of the voice control system, can identify commands more quickly, can also enable multiple functions at the same time, and further improve the understanding of natural language commands, with a recognition rate of 95%.
In addition, the upgrade improves the functionality of the touchscreen itself, with new screen sensors detecting adjacent touch actions and preventing accidental touch activation.
In terms of hardware, the official model will use a more powerful quad-core processing chip after 2022, which will increase the speed of the car by at least 25% and increase the reaction speed of the graphics card by three times.
As for some other problems that cannot be solved through software, the official also promised to deal with and improve them in the medium-term reform.
For domestic users, Volkswagen did not disclose specific upgrade plans, but since overseas has begun, domestic users should be able to enjoy the same treatment in the near future.
