The pilot covers 71 cities in 27 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country, requiring that "by the end of 2021, all pilot areas will enter the actual payment stage." In 1-2 years, the total medical insurance budget of the coordinated area will be combined with the point method to realize a diversified compound payment method based on DIP for hospitalization."
