Claiming to be a rapid test of nucleic acids, health code effectiveness, selling new crown drugs, receiving epidemic prevention materials for free, receiving vaccination accident insurance for free, impersonating a vaccination census investigator... Yesterday afternoon, Gao Peng, a police officer at the Tianjin Anti-Telecom Network Fraud Crime Center, gave a detailed introduction to some recent telecommunications network fraud routines related to the epidemic, reminding the public to pay more attention.
Impersonation of the Public Prosecutor's Office Act
Recently, Sun Mou, a resident of the city, received a strange phone call, the other party claimed to be a police officer of the Household Administration Department of the Tianjin Municipal Public Security Bureau, saying that Sun Mou violated the domestic epidemic control regulations and illegally entered the Harbin airport. Sun immediately said that he had not left the country, and the so-called "verification" of the convenient transfer of the phone to the "Harbin Public Security Bureau" was carried out. After the phone was transferred, the other party said that Sun's identity information may have been leaked, asked Sun to add his QQ friends, opened a video call, and said that Sun was suspected of money laundering and let Sun cooperate with the investigation to check the flow of funds. Sun Mou told the other party his bank card number and password, and was defrauded of 35,400 yuan.
Police reminder: Anyone who says that you entered the country illegally during the epidemic period, and then transferred to the so-called public security department of the place of entry or the procuratorate, the court and other law enforcement agencies, and also showed you the "wanted order" and "arrest warrant", saying that you are suspected of other crimes, asking you to cooperate with the investigation and transfer the funds to the "safe account" for fund review, are scammers.
Fake transactions
Recently, the policeman Yan Mou said that he was defrauded of 3.38 million yuan by purchasing meltblown cloth (raw materials for making medical masks) through the Internet. Later, after the work of the public security organs, Yan X, for the purpose of illegal possession, claimed that he had channels to purchase meltblown cloth, and successively defrauded the victims Li X, Ma X and others of ordering a total of more than 6.3 million yuan. In order to delay time to deceive the trust of the other party, he fabricated a false chat record with the so-called shangjia through a chat software called "Bat", and lied to the public security organs that he had been deceived by purchasing meltblown cloth. In the end, Yan Mou, who was clever in his own way, was arrested by the public security organs.
Police remind: During the epidemic period, the network appears significantly lower than the market price of epidemic prevention materials, raw materials and other information, do not easily believe, must be verified by multiple parties. When purchasing epidemic prevention materials and raw materials, if the seller requires the seller to pay the deposit and payment in advance, we must be cautious and meet with the seller when necessary.
SMS scams
Receiving a text message with a link in the name of the "Social Security Center", "Jinxin Office" and other disease control departments, saying that your social security card and medical insurance card have been deactivated, upgraded or not uploaded for electronic review, etc., you need to click the link to handle business online. Would you believe it? Recently, Mr. Li, a citizen, received a similar text message, saying that Mr. Li needed to go through the electronic review of his social security account and attach a link to the website. After Mr. Li clicked to enter, the mobile phone interface was displayed as "Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China". Therefore, Mr. Li did not suspect, followed the page prompts step by step to log in, fill in the ID card number, mobile phone number and other personal information, and finally filled in the Alipay account number and password as required in the "Alipay Authentication Identity Information". However, when Mr. Li filled in the above information, he did not wait for the new electronic social security card, but waited for the SMS notification that Alipay was deducted 4990 yuan for 4 consecutive times, totaling 19960 yuan. Only then did Mr. Li discover that he had been deceived.
Police remind: The Social Security Center, Jinxin Office and other disease control departments will not let citizens upgrade their social security cards and medical insurance cards by sending them a text message with a link. If you receive a similar text message, you can call the official service hotline of social security 12333 to verify the authenticity.

In view of the use of epidemic prevention reasons such as "impersonating circulation personnel to sell new drugs" and "impersonating vaccine census personnel", the precautionary tips are as follows:
1. The new crown pneumonia does not care about the immediate effect, medicine to the "special medicine" of the disease. At present, in addition to vaccination, most of the use of antiviral drugs, the most useful "special drugs" are actually to further enhance their own immunity.
2. Improve the awareness of prevention and strengthen the ability to identify. Government departments will not take a door-to-door approach to promote so-called new COVID-19 drugs, special drugs and paid vaccinations. If you encounter self-proclaimed investigators and census personnel, first of all, do not be gullible, ask more why, such as the other party's name, unit, intention, ask to see the other party's work documents, if you still can't confirm the identity of the other party, you can call the local community, the local disease control department or 110 telephone to verify.
3. Do not disclose the account number, password, credit card expiration date, the last three codes and payment verification codes to others; do not conduct online transactions in public Internet places such as Internet cafes or public WIFI environments; online payment passwords should preferably contain numbers, letters and symbols.
4. Protect personal information and do not log in to suspicious websites. The broad masses of the people must heighten their vigilance and conscientiously identify that as long as vaccines and fees are involved, they must be false news. Do not enter your ID number, mobile phone number and other information on unfamiliar websites, so as not to give scammers an opportunity.
