The truck delivered this time is equipped with BYD's self-developed lithium iron phosphate battery. In addition, its excellent control system and a variety of innovative in-car functions combine comfort, technology and safety to easily meet the zero-carbon distribution services in the city.
Rodrigo Albuquerque, Executive Director of Logistics at The Modelo Group, said, "We dream of having a purely electric logistics transport fleet of 500 trucks over the next two years. By 2022, we will add another 30 pure electric trucks and 20 pure electric forklifts. The purchase of a fleet of all-electric heavy-duty trucks from BYD is also part of our group's strategy, making us the first company in Mexico to have a fleet of all-electric heavy trucks. Compared with diesel trucks, pure electric trucks greatly reduce CO2 emissions and bring us great environmental benefits. ”
Zou Zhou, country manager of BYD Mexico Branch, said: "Mexico has a lot of advantages in the development of traditional automobile manufacturing, ANDD plans to launch about 200 pure electric logistics trucks in Mexico in 2022. The delivery of a pure electric logistics truck fleet to The Modlow Group has greatly filled the gap in mexico's local new energy technology industry, which is also in line with the sustainable development concept advocated by the Mexican logistics and transportation market, and injects new green power into the Mexican transportation industry. ”
Andrés Lajous, Minister of Transport of Mexico City, congratulated the electrification of the Modero Group's logistics fleet and said: "The blind spot perspective of general trucks is very large, and it is easy to ignore the traffic situation on the road, resulting in a high incidence of road traffic accidents. This electric truck is equipped with an intelligent monitoring system that can detect the driving situation of the vehicle and feedback it to the information desk in real time, greatly improving driving safety. ”

At that time, this batch of pure electric trucks will also be put into operation in the park, promoting The Modelo Group to build a pure electric transportation logistics chain.
In the future, BYD will continue to deepen the field of new energy transportation, take the market demand as the guide, combine the market demand of New Energy Products in Mexico, and promote the construction of a global green logistics and transportation system with zero emission and pollution-free new energy technology through local cooperation, promote the electrification process of Mexican transportation, and accelerate the realization of zero carbon emissions in logistics and transportation.
