In Xiamen's large and small supermarkets, many vegetables, fruits, meat, seafood and other products have set up a two-dimensional code on the price bulletin board. After the public scans the QR code with the mobile phone, the mobile phone page will display the basic information of the product, including the product commitment to meet the standard certificate, qualification certificate, origin information, etc. at a glance.

According to the staff of The Xiamen Market Supervision Bureau, this two-dimensional code is equivalent to the ID card of the food, and the citizens can scan the code with one click, and the ins and outs of the food can be known. For bulk food without a two-dimensional code, the public can log on to the "Xiamen Food Safety Information Network" and enter information such as food name, food bar code, production date, etc., that is, they can find the source information of the whole process of the food from production to sales.

In order to effectively protect the safety of the citizens' "vegetable basket", as early as 2005, the Xiamen market supervision department took the lead in building a fresh food safety supervision and management system in the country; after more than ten years of exploration and construction, a unified platform for food safety information traceability has been built, and a traceability system covering the whole process of "from farmland to table" has been built. During the period, it also pioneered the national food "market entry" mechanism, moving the threshold of food safety supervision forward, requiring producers and operators to upload certificates of conformity to print the "Listing Certificate", and have vouchers to enter the market for sale, and effectively access the source.

Taking Haicang District as an example, in recent years, in order to actively promote and implement the construction of the food safety "Entering the Market Bideng" traceability system, the local market supervision department has repeatedly convened large catering units and supermarkets in the jurisdiction to carry out the "Entering the Market Bideng" traceability system training, demonstrated the operation practice of the "Entering the Market Bideng" traceability platform on the spot, and also helped the supermarkets and other business units to independently operate the "Entering the Market Bideng" food information traceability platform through "one-to-one" guidance for food business units that have doubts, and standardized the entry of traceability information. At the same time, combined with the work of food safety and Chuangcheng, the market supervision department of the district carried out a "market entry" spot check on the imported cold chain food business units, large catering and supermarkets in the jurisdiction, urged the food production and operation units to implement the main responsibility of food traceability, and guided the "market entry" traceability information entry and review.

At present, 77 food production units, 89 food wholesale business units, 34 social catering service units and 156 school canteens in Haicang jurisdiction have registered on the "Xiamen Food Safety Information Network", and timely upload traceability data and inspection and review as required. In addition, the 2 catering utensils cleaning enterprises in the jurisdiction have been included in the "market entry" traceability system, and the whole process of disinfection of catering utensils can be traced.

The relevant person in charge of the Xiamen Market Supervision Bureau said that the people take food as the sky, food as the first priority, and the food "entering the market" traceability system not only effectively protects the safety of Xiamen's "vegetable basket", but also helps Xiamen to create a national food safety demonstration city.
