AMD Releases Graphics Driver for China Internet Cafes: 40% Reduction in Installation Packages

AMD recently released a special graphics card driver "21.12.1 iCafe", as the name is customized for Internet cafes, the installation package volume is greatly simplified, and the functions are also simplified.

This Internet café special driver is customized and maintained by AMD's R&D team in China, and continues to conduct compatibility testing based on various platforms of domestic popular online games, video applications, Internet café diskless, billing, game updates and other applications and management software, and optimizes a lot for the domestic Internet café environment.

In addition, AMD will continue to work with game developers and Internet café management software developers to customize compatible driver versions for users in the Internet café industry.

Based on the "AMD Internet Café Solution Lab", the simulated Internet Café Lab established by the environment of the domestic Internet Café Management Software Developer was fully verified, including Shun Net, Cloud Update, Yiyou, and Xinhaoyi.

Compared with the standard version of the driver, it simplifies the size of the driver installation package, eliminating some components that are not often used in Internet cafes without affecting performance and compatibility.

The installation package of this version is only 777MB, and the latest 21.12.1 standard version has reached 1.28GB, a difference of 40%.
