The Torreón incident was caused by Francisco Madero, what kind of person Francisco was, who gave him so much power, Francesco was born in 1873, in a small mexican border town, a family of landlords, although his father was a landlord, but he was very sympathetic to the workers.
At the age of 15, Francesco studied in France and the United States, embraced the influence of free thought, and in 1908, he returned to Mexico to call for the restoration of the liberal constitution of 1857, which was supported by some peasants, and Francesco ran for president from 1909 to 1910.
He raised opposition to the dictatorship and protected the national industry, but ultimately failed, because he intensified the people, causing a lot of riots at that time, he was also arrested, and after his release from prison, Francesco called for a people's uprising, and Mexico encouraged colonial policies when Mexico established diplomatic relations with the Qing Dynasty.
Many Chinese came to Mexico to work, the largest of which was the railway worker, the number of Chinese immigrants at that time was as high as 27,800, and most of them lived in northern Mexico, of which the city of Torreón, which was close to the railway, was very popular with the Chinese, and Francesco looked at the traffic of Torreón.
So he led the peasant army to suppress the city of Torreón by force, and after the capture of the city of Torreón, Francesco gave a speech in the city, he wanted to start an uprising of the people in the city, but the effect was minimal, in fact, he knew in his heart that if he wanted to surrender to him, he would have joined their ranks in their attack on the city of León.
In order to arouse the anger of the local people, Francesco pointed the finger at the Chinese, the Chinese in Torreón city is very industrious, they can stand up to five Mexicans, which makes many people unemployed, this method is very good, Torreón City set off a wave of Chinese exclusion, according to post-war statistics, there were more than 300 Chinese killed at that time.
In May 1911, under the attack of the peasant army, the former president was forced to abdicate, and in November Francesco became the president by election, but after being elected president, he ordered the dissolution of the peasant army and retained the bureaucracy of the previous president, and all the status quo did not change except for the president.
The matter of Torreón soon reached the ears of the Qing Dynasty, the Qing Dynasty sent the cruiser "Haixi" to Mexico to arrest criminals, along the way the Qing Dynasty signed a friendship alliance with many countries, the United States also supported the Qing Dynasty, under the oppression of the Qing Dynasty, the Mexican government planned to hand over Francisco.
