Whether it is in the enterprise or in the government department, hegemony is Deng Jipeng's label.
As early as 2000, at the provincial food exhibition sponsored by the Jiangxi Provincial Government, Deng Jipeng, then director of the Si special distillery, in order to crush other liquor brands in the province, took over all the advertising spaces in the four major sections of the main venue Bayi Square at that time, with the intention of turning the province's food exhibition into a promotion meeting for the four special liquors. On April 20 this year, the Intermediate People's Court of Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province, convicted Deng Jipeng of accepting bribes, embezzlement, embezzlement, abuse of power, and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, and sentenced him to 18 years' imprisonment and a fine of 2 million yuan.

Deng Jipeng and Xiong Xiaojun are fellow villagers in Gao'an, Jiangxi. Xiong Xiaojun has long been deeply involved in the field of transportation and has been working in the highway system. In 2010, Deng Jipeng was transferred from director of Yichun Economic and Trade Commission to director of Yichun Highway Administration, and Xiong Xiaojun had been working in Yichun Highway Administration for 3 years. Soon after, Xiong Xiaojun was promoted to deputy director and party committee member under Deng Jipeng. Since then, the two have worked together for a long time until Xiong Xiaojun was transferred to Yichun Transportation Investment Group Co., Ltd. in 2017.
In November 2020, Xiong Xiaojun was expelled from the party and public office. The circular said: Xiong Xiaojun engaged in power and money trading; embezzled public funds for personal use, the amount of which was particularly huge, and carried out profit-making activities; and abused his power, causing the interests of the state and the people to suffer heavy losses. In January this year, Xiong Xiaojun was indicted by the Nanchang Municipal People's Procuratorate on charges of accepting bribes, embezzlement, abuse of power, and embezzlement.

Soon after Yan Ganhui returned to Yichun as secretary of the municipal party committee, he also wanted to make some "achievements" quickly and gain political capital for himself. This is an urban road connecting the central urban area of Yichun with Wanzai County, built according to the standard of two-way six-lane urban roads, and is the largest investment project in the history of Yichun. After Yan Ganhui proposed this project, he immediately handed over to Deng Jipeng to do the preliminary work. Deng Jipeng tried every means to turn the leadership's "intention" into a realistic "blueprint", and completed the project feasibility report and preliminary design plan "efficiently" within four months. Without argumentation, without consulting professional institutions, and without democratic decision-making, the project was launched, laying many hidden risks.
In June 2018, at the age of 57, Deng Jipeng was promoted to deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee of Yichun Economic Development Zone near the age of retirement, and ranked at the level of deputy department. In order to get praise in the inspection and evaluation of the city's economic and social development and party building in 2019 carried out by the Yichun Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, and achieve eye-catching "political achievements", Deng Jipeng decided to implement the green landscape upgrading and transformation project of the Economic Development Zone and Chunfeng Road in spite of the actual situation of the low annual financial revenue of the Economic Development Zone. On April 16, Yan Ganhui was sentenced to 11 years in prison. The court trial found that from 2007 to 2020, Yan Ganhui amassed 26.119 million yuan, and his reports and exposing the crimes of others were verified to be true and had meritorious performance, and he was given a lenient punishment according to law.
A month after Yan Ganhui fell, in July 2020, Hu Quanshun, secretary of the Wanzai County Party Committee in Yichun City, was investigated. On 26 March this year, the Jiangxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision held a warning education conference in Yichun City, taking yan Ganhui, Deng Jipeng, and Hu Quanshun as a mirror for three cases of serious violations of discipline and law by the top leaders. At the warning education conference, a confessional film of the above three people was played, and more than 2,800 party members and cadres in the city attended the meeting. On the second day of the warning meeting, after Zhang Qinghua, secretary of the party leading group and director of the Standing Committee of the Wanzai County People's Congress, voluntarily surrendered, 34 more people in Yichun City took the initiative to explain the problem.
Just two days ago, on the evening of December 13, the Jiangxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision released the news that Hu Jiangping, a member of the party leading group and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Yichun Municipal People's Congress, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and is currently under review and investigation.
