Live Bar December 15, the official website of the Italian Football Association launched a voting link, advocating fans to join in and choose their own best Italian men's/women football player of the year.
The men's football candidate list is: Barrera, Chiesa Junior, Donnarumma, Insigne and Spinazzola, and the current voting results show that Chiesa Jr. has 44% of the votes, with the largest number of votes; Barrera is second with 21.56%, and Spinazzola is 16.94%, ranking third.
The women's football shortlist is: Chernoia, Jachinti, Bonanseia, Girelli and Pirone. Girelli is currently in first place with 43.19%, Bonanseia second with 22.49%, and Jacinti at 17.99%.
Voting is still taking place on social media and the official website of the Italian Football Association, and can be voted until 20:00 local time on December 30.
