Aniplex announced today on its official website that Itiplex has signed a share transfer agreement with Delight Works, and Delight Works' game development business will be split off and established as a new company, which is currently unnamed and will be published later. Through the agreement, Aniplex will acquire the newly formed company as a subsidiary, and the transaction will be implemented next spring. The new company will be established after being effectively established, approved by the relevant authorities and licensed.
Under the deal, Delight Works will no longer continue to develop the mobile game Fate/Grand Order (FGO). elight Works' FGO development team and other gaming ventures will all be taken over by the new company. The new production committee will be jointly managed by Aniplex, Notes Limited (a subsidiary of Shizuki) and the newly established company.
DAniplex said the company will also continue to deepen the cooperation, working with the employees, creators and related parties of the new company to further develop the new company and the development of the game business of the entire group. The acquisition does not affect Light Works' other gaming businesses.
