IT Home December 14 news, Xiaomi service and feedback App updated to 13.0.3.0 version, some netizens found a new LOGO of MIUI 13, hinting that the new system is coming.
However, according to Xiaomiui's findings, the code of the Xiaomi Service and Feedback App shows that the Xiaomi MIX FOLD folding screen phone does not support upgrading to MIUI 13.

The code shows that devices code-named "cetus" do not support OTA, referring to MIX FOLD. The device received a MIUI 12.5 update in October, bringing several experience improvements.
According to the code of the MIUI 13 Service and Feedback app, people using the MIX FOLD device will get an error when checking for OTA updates. Based on the error message, MIX FOLD will not support updates.
This change could indicate two scenarios:
MIX FOLD will not be able to upgrade to MIUI 13 and Android 12;
Xiaomi will customize a MIUI version for the MIX FOLD to distinguish it from the general mobile version.
IT Home learned that the Xiaomi MIX FOLD 2 previously appeared in the IMEI database and was certified. This phone model is "22061218C", referred to as "L18", from the name can be seen that the phone is expected to be officially launched in June-July 2022.
Xiaomiui said that Xiaomi may announce a folding screen version of MIUI when mix FOLD 2 is released, and MIX FOLD may also get a new update. Combined with Google's recent release of Android 12 L, an operating system for folding screens and tablets, this prediction is not impossible.
