West Avenue runs east-west, south-east and north-west. From the intersection of East Avenue and Lianchi South Street (the junction of the former South Avenue and New North Street) (commonly known as the Tax Corner nearby), the road is 846 meters long at the intersection of Hengxiang South Avenue (formerly West Huancheng Road) and Xiguan Street (west of West Avenue) in the west.
