The original musical works of Qinghai Mangya oil production workers won the second prize of the National Tao Di Music Composition Competition

The 3rd Chinese Style Tao Di Music Composition Competition, sponsored by the Chinese National Orchestra Society, is held every two years and is a high-standard competition for the collection of original music works of Tao Di. This competition was anonymously judged by well-known composers and performers organized by the China National Orchestra Society, and Liu Xiao's original pottery flute music work "Love of Gasi Lake" from Liu Xiao, a cultural talent from Mangya City, Qinghai Province, a volunteer of the practice of civilization in the new era, and a young employee of the First Oil Production Plant in Qinghai Oilfield, stood out through expert selection.

Liu Xiao introduced that the full name of Gasi Lake is Gaskule Lake, Mongolian "Gasnol", meaning "white jade circle" and "silver-edged lake", is a closed inflow basin, with an area of about 140 square kilometers, is a super-large stone salt lake deposit where solid and liquid coexist. Gas Lake is the lake of petroleum culture and is one of the origins of Qaidam literature.

"The Love of Gas Lake" tells the love of oil workers, expressing the tortuous emotions of the drilling machine under the star tower, in the reed Gobi, the black guy and the white aunt working together while sending lovesickness. The music uses flashbacks, starting from memories, comparing the mentality of lovers to the waters of Gas Lake swaying in the wilderness, the tides rising and falling, and the vast end of the world is guarded by one side.
