According to the US Chinese Network, ABC News and a poll released by Ipsos local time on the 12th showed that nearly 70% of Americans said they did not approve of President Biden's way of dealing with inflation.

The survey reportedly found that 69 percent of Americans disapproved of Biden's handling of inflation, with only 28 percent agreeing. In partisan terms, 94 percent of Republicans opposed it and 54 percent of Democrats objected. Among independent voters, 71 percent disapproved.

In addition, in terms of economic recovery, 57% said they did not approve of Biden's performance.

ABC News noted that Biden's approval ratings for tackling crime and gun violence have also declined, with 36 percent and 32 percent of respondents, respectively, favoring the way he tackles both.

Still, Biden maintained a slim majority of support for the outbreak. According to the survey, 53 percent said they agreed with Biden's approach to the outbreak.

The poll, conducted jointly by ABC and Ipsos, randomly selected 524 adults for interviews between December 10 and 11. The results of the poll have a plus or minus 5 percentage point error.

Inflation in the United States continues to soar. In the past year to November, consumer prices rose 6.8 percent — the highest annual inflation rate since 1982.

Biden said last week that he believes the U.S. is currently at the "peak" of an inflation crisis and that inflation will fall once the Senate passes his Better Rebuild Act.

"It's a real obstacle. When you walk into a grocery store and you're going to spend more money on whatever you buy, it does affect American families — it's about people's livelihood," Biden said.

"Rising oil prices are also big for people, and while in some states oil prices have fallen below $3 a gallon, the point is that oil prices aren't falling fast enough." He added. "But I think oil prices will fall quickly."
