The Beijing Dance Academy's "Dance for the People" special performance recently debuted at the National Centre for the Performing Arts, focusing on many classic works from the 67 years since its establishment.
The performance is based on the classics of the Beijing Dance Academy in the development of new Chinese dance, and is divided into 5 chapters: "Kai Song and Dance Oriental", "Spring Wind Dance Vigorous", "Tang root Dance Harmony", "Bo Yin Dance True Essence" and "Chu Xin Dance Revival", closely following the theme of "Dance for the People", and selecting different themes and dance masterpieces from various periods to display to the audience.
The performance kicked off with the "Yellow River" of three dances: Chinese classical dance, Chinese folk dance and ballet, showing the heroism and indomitability of the sons and daughters of China; the gentle and gentle "Lotus Dance", "Spring" with the background of reform and opening up, and "Qin Wang's Soldiers" showing the posture of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses appeared one after another, outlining the long history and colorful appearance of Chinese dance; the ballet "Swan Lake" and the international standard dance "Silk Road Line" were eye-catching; the Chinese classical dance "Avenue Fire: Chen Wangdao" and the modern dance "Family Letter" were eye-catching; the chinese classical dance "Avenue Fire: Chen Wangdao" and the modern dance "Family Letter" And other red-themed works lead the audience back to the years of burning passion; the latest work "Pilot" created by the Beijing Dance Academy for this special performance expresses the theme of the whole performance - dancing for the people.
