Adele Hugo's Story by Truffaut

This is a love story about Hugo's second daughter, Adele. Adele, played by Adjani, is madly in love with an officer, Pinson. The love of the two is not affirmed by Hugo. After the American Civil War, Pinson went to Canada to fight in the war, and Adele came to Canada to find her lover Pinson despite the danger. But what Adele didn't expect was that Pinson was in love with someone else. Adele humbly hopes that Pinson will love him again, and even pretends to be pregnant, hoping that Pinson will change his mind. Neither the humble plea nor the redemption made Pinson change his mind. Adele just went crazy for love.

The film is based on a true story, and the heroine of the film is based on the second daughter of the great literary scholar Mr. Hugo, Adele. He died in 1915 at the age of 85.

Adele's crazy love is heart-wrenching and frightening at the same time.
