Adele Hugo's Story by Truffaut

author:Xiao Ranren

This is a love story about Hugo's second daughter, Adele. Adele, played by Adjani, is madly in love with an officer, Pinson. The love of the two is not affirmed by Hugo. After the American Civil War, Pinson went to Canada to fight in the war, and Adele came to Canada to find her lover Pinson despite the danger. But what Adele didn't expect was that Pinson was in love with someone else. Adele humbly hopes that Pinson will love him again, and even pretends to be pregnant, hoping that Pinson will change his mind. Neither the humble plea nor the redemption made Pinson change his mind. Adele just went crazy for love.

The film is based on a true story, and the heroine of the film is based on the second daughter of the great literary scholar Mr. Hugo, Adele. He died in 1915 at the age of 85.

Adele's crazy love is heart-wrenching and frightening at the same time. After learning that Pinson had fallen in love with another woman, she monitored, stalked, and lied about being pregnant every day. She wrote down all of these heart-wrenching behaviors. In the end, the ending is tragic, unable to save the heart of his lover, and he himself fell into mental illness.

Throughout Truffaut's films, women play a very important role in her films. But these female characters all seem to fall into two categories: one is Antoine Doinel in Antoine Doinel in Antoine Doinel. This type of woman yearns for a beautiful love, sincere interaction with her lover, and hopes to form a beautiful family. And the other category is a scheming, vicious woman. Men are to be put to death. Such as Zu and Zhan, the bride in black.

The film is filled with a dark, gloomy atmosphere throughout. And this kind of film atmosphere also paves the way for the tragic fate of the heroine. The film also unfolds the story in the form of a diary, which also improves the authenticity of the story.
