According to the "World Sports Newspaper", the Indian police and the Dubai police recently joined forces to arrest a thief who stole the watch of the late football legend Diego Maradona.

The chief minister of the Indian state of Assam, Himanta Biswa Salma, said on Twitter that during an international cooperation operation, the Assam police, in coordination with the Dubai Police Headquarters through the Indian federal agency, recovered the watch of the late legendary footballer Diego Maradona and arrested a man named Wazid Hussein.

According to Indian police, Hussey, 37, worked as a security guard for a company linked to Maradona and was therefore able to access some of his belongings. After the theft, Hussein fled to Assam.

It is understood that this watch is an exclusive product customized by Hublot for Maradona and is a limited edition Big Bang Unico model. Hand-assembled from 330 small parts, the watch is engraved with a photograph of Maradona at the bottom, in addition to his signature and the words "10", all of which make it relatively easy to find this watch.

According to public information, the Swiss Hublot manufacturer released two King Supreme Maradona limited edition watches in 2010 and 2012, with 250 and 500 pieces sold respectively. Each watch is priced between $25,000 and $40,000.
