Ji Ji is the founder of The Heart Liuhe Quan, and his martial arts are unfathomable, so why does he advise people not to practice martial arts

Ji Ji, the founder of the Heart Liuhe Fist, was extremely skilled and brave, and he not only made great contributions to the development of martial arts, but also led the townspeople to resist the rogues in his old age, and won the respect of the people. However, in his "Treatise on the Martial Arts of Yishan Mountain", he advised people not to learn martial arts. So, what does he mean?

(Ji Jike)

In 1602, Ji Jike was born in Puzhou, Shanxi. Ji Jike's ancestor was originally a native of Hongdong, Shanxi, who moved to FengLizun Village in Puzhou, Shanxi during the Ming Hongwu dynasty. By the time Ji Ji was born, the Ji family had become a solid local family after several generations of operation, with more than two hundred acres of land alone and hundreds of sheep.

Ji Ji is the youngest son in the family, and he has an older brother named Ji Ji Shi above him. When the two studied together in private schools in their early years, Ji Jike showed a brilliant talent. The articles in the Four Books and the Five Classics are often recited by his eyes. Every time the teacher tested him, he could always recite it backwards. Therefore, both the teacher and his father Ji Xun loved him and placed great hopes on him.

However, Ji Ji Kezhi was not famous, but had a strong interest in martial arts.

He once studied martial arts with local martial arts masters. According to legend, one day, when Ji Ji was practicing martial arts at the west river beach of the village, an old man came, and the old man looked at it for a while and said, "You are practicing well, but your eyes are not bright enough, go to the river to wash your eyes." Ji Ji could listen to the old man's words, but when he finished washing his eyes and turned around, the old man was gone. This incident left a deep impression on Ji Jike, who always thought that he had met a "stranger" and had become more and more focused on practicing since then.

When Ji Jike was a teenager, he took the imperial examination and passed the examination, but he was not interested in entering the army. Therefore, in order to continue to study martial arts, he went to the Shaolin Temple to learn martial arts. Later, due to coincidence, he obtained the "Yue Wu Mu Fist Score". Since then, he has not only practiced martial arts day and night, but he has also studied boxing assiduously. After several years of hard study, he not only mastered the art of boxing, but also the six-in-one gun technique was unmatched. It is said that when he was practicing "rafter gong", he rode a horse with a big gun in his hand, and when the horse was galloping, he stabbed the rafters under the eaves with a big gun, so that a row of stabs passed, and there was no omission, which made everyone present impressed.

After Ji Ji could practice divine skills, he once joined the military camp. Because of his literary and military strategy, he was very talented and learned, and he was quickly reused in the army and became a general who commanded the battle.

Unfortunately, when Ji Ji could serve as a general of the Ming Army, there were Qing troops outside the Ming Dynasty and peasant uprisings inside, which was already precarious. Although Ji Ji can fight tenaciously, in front of the rumbling wheels of history, he is also like a praying mantis blocking the car, which cannot change the course of history in the slightest.

After the Qing army entered the customs, Ji Jike had already returned to his hometown and lived in seclusion. Because he was bent on restoring the Ming Dynasty, when he was living in seclusion in the township, he set up a private school called Qiuzhitang to train anti-Qing zhishi. He taught students to read and write during the day and martial arts at night.

However, as the rule of the Qing Dynasty became more and more stable, Ji Jike, who was a former dynasty official, also attracted the attention of the rulers. In order to avoid trouble, Ji Ji had to close the Qiuzhi Hall. But his ambition to oppose the Qing Dynasty and restore the Ming Dynasty was even firmer.

In order to seek the great cause of restoring the Ming Dynasty, Ji Jike went to Xie County, Henan and other places several times to contact the anti-Qing Zhishi.

Once, when Himeji was crossing Mount Nakajō, due to the extreme steepness of the mountain, the mount lost its hoof, and even people with horses rolled down the mountain stream. At the moment of crisis, Ji Jike climbed a protruding rock, and relying on years of internal cultivation, he climbed up the cliff like a gecko, clinging to the steep stone wall. He rushed to Henan with great difficulty in not dying, and heard that the anti-Qing zhishi were gathered in the Shaolin Temple of Songshan Mountain, so he rushed to the Shaolin Temple without stopping.

During her stay at the Shaolin Temple, Ji Ji discussed the meaning of martial arts with The Shaolin Warrior Monks. They also performed martial arts separately. Ji Jike's boxing skills and big guns opened the eyes of the martial monks, so he stayed in the abbot of the Shaolin Temple, and he stayed in the Shaolin Temple as a martial artist, teaching the martial monks to learn martial arts.

In the process of teaching martial arts, Ji Jike gained a better understanding and inspiration for Shaolin Kung Fu. In particular, the Tiger Fist, Dragon Fist, Leopard Fist, Snake Fist, and Crane Fist in Shaolin Kung Fu aroused his great interest. In addition to hard training, he has been deeply studying Shaolin boxing.

On this day, Ji Jike was practicing in the courtyard, and when he saw two roosters fighting, he suddenly had a flash of inspiration. Why can't we be unique in martial arts based on the strengths of various animals? So he combined the "Yue Wu Mu Fist Spectrum", gathered the strengths of a hundred families, and created a heart-to-heart liuhe fist that was strong and soft and integrated with attack and defense. There are six styles of this set of punches, which can be summarized as chicken legs, dragon bodies, eagle catches, bear arms and tiger heads.

Because this set of punches is very aggressive in battle, it is especially suitable for self-defense and killing enemies. So, there is an endless stream of scholars. However, because of this set of boxing techniques, as the treasure of the Shaolin Temple, it has always been regarded as the most exquisite boxing art. Therefore, each generation will only teach the most enlightened and virtuous warrior monks.

(Shaolin Temple Warrior Monk)

In the blink of an eye, Ji Ji could spend ten years in the Shaolin Temple. In the passage of time, Ji Ji can see the Qing army constantly winning victories, and he realizes that it is no longer possible to restore the Qing Dynasty. Coupled with the fact that he was in the year of Hua Jia again, he was discouraged, so he bid farewell to the Shaolin Temple, returned to his hometown, and single-mindedly taught his skills to his descendants. At the same time, he also wrote the "Treatise on the Martial Arts of Yishan Mountain", which wrote down the essentials of boxing and various theories of martial arts training one by one in the book, so that future generations can use them as an important theoretical reference when practicing Mind LiuheQuan.

However, At the same time, Ji Jike wrote in the book: "I advise the people of the world not to learn martial arts, and it is difficult to know how fierce and ji is less." Losing money and causing trouble in front of you, it is better to breathe and maintain health but natural. ”

Then, Ji Ji was a person with strong martial arts skills, and he was also the founder of the Heart Liuhe Quan, why did he instead persuade people not to practice martial arts?

The main reason is that Ji Jike's ambition of "opposing the Qing Dynasty and restoring the Ming Dynasty" has not been realized. At the same time, because he saw many anti-Qing heroes, he was sacrificed at the hands of the Rulers of the Qing Dynasty. In addition, in order to consolidate their political power, the rulers of the Qing Dynasty not only did not allow the people to learn martial arts, but also forbade the people to hide weapons privately. If discovered, there will be jail time. Because I hope that everyone can save their lives and not make unnecessary sacrifices, this is the feeling.

However, although Ji Ji could persuade people not to learn martial arts, he was also unwilling to create his own Heart Liuhe Fist and lost it. So after he returned to his hometown, he began to look for people to pass on. According to the "Genealogy of the Ji Clan", when Ji Ji taught martial arts, it was not limited to his descendants, but also passed on to the most perceptive and diligent people. In the end, it was his disciple Cao Jiwu who received his true transmission.

Cao Jiwu, who received the true transmission, set a record of three consecutive victories in the martial arts examination in 1693, and served as the governor of Jingyuan in Shaanxi, which shows how powerful the Heart Liuhe Fist is. Later, Cao Jiwu passed on to Dai Longbang, and Dai Longbang passed on to Li Luoneng...

In addition to discipleship, Ji Ji could do many chivalrous things in his old age. At that time, a group of strongmen west of the Yellow River came to wash the township. When he saw that his neighbors' property was about to suffer losses, he immediately took up a big gun and organized the young and middle-aged people in the village to fight against the strongmen.

In the fierce battle, he killed the leader of the other side and repelled the strongman. Since then, Ji Jike, who was originally highly respected, has been more respected by the people in the township.

In 1683, at the age of 81, Ji Jike completed his legendary life.

After Ji Jike's death, in order to commemorate him, his descendants built a "Fengxian Hall" in the middle of the village and hung his portrait, and everyone had to worship him every year, so it continued for more than 200 years.

Moreover, Ji Ji can create and compile the Heart Liuhe Fist, which has been well inherited and developed by the efforts of generations of people. Especially in the late Qing Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty, under the promotion of martial arts masters Guo Yunshen, Liu Qilan and others, Xinyi Liuhequan shined in the martial arts world and became one of the mainstream martial arts that martial arts enthusiasts rushed to learn.
