Case 4 is a Chinese national, visiting relatives in the United Kingdom, Case 5 is a US national, studying in the United Kingdom, Case 4 and Case 5 departed from the United Kingdom, transited through Denmark, took the same flight, arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on 8 December 2021, and were placed under centralized isolation and observation after entering customs, during which symptoms developed. Combined with epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, and imaging findings, the diagnosis is confirmed as a confirmed case.
Case 6, a Chinese national working in Israel, arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on 8 December 2021 and was placed under centralized quarantine for observation after entering customs, during which he developed symptoms. Case 7, a German national living in Germany, departed from Germany and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on 8 December 2021, where he was placed under centralized quarantine and observation after entering customs, during which he developed symptoms. Combined with epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, and imaging findings, the diagnosis is confirmed as a confirmed case.
Case 8, a German national, studied in the UK, departed from the UK, transited through Finland, arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on 10 December 2021, and was placed under centralized isolation and observation after entering customs, during which he developed symptoms. Eight imported confirmed cases have been transferred to designated medical institutions for treatment, and 126 close contacts of the same flight have been traced, and centralized isolation and observation have been implemented.
