"Born Guilty"?

author:The text is like a month

Read Trevor Noah's novel Born Guilty today.

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Trevor Noah is an American comedian, stand-up comedian, television and radio host. She is called "Cui Wa" by Chinese netizens.

What drew me to reading was not curiosity about the author, Triva (though his humorous and pungent language about the president of the United States and American politics did make me laugh), but the reverie of the title, "Born Guilty."

Sure enough, in the opening chapter, the author explained to me the apartheid system that south Africa still practiced at the time of his birth—a complex and effective cruel system of grading people according to the color of their skin, artificially creating hatred and creating hostility.

So it's not hard to understand that he, Trevor Noah, the father white, the mother black, such a mixed-race child who is not tolerated by society, brings the original sin - inherently sinful.

Born sinful, what a terrible brand. It was thus solidly imprinted on Trevor's body and mind. Fortunately, he has a mother who dares to act boldly and always dares to challenge the unfair system.

Therefore, this book is not so much about her own growth experience as it is about how a black mother teaches her children to break through the ceiling, challenge the impossible, and live the life they yearn for.

As the author says, "Thank you my mother, thank you for making me a man".

Thank you Trevor Noah for letting me know the horrors of the real apartheid system, letting me know the happiness of our ordinary lives, and letting me know how great a mother can be.

Sincerely recommend interested friends to take a look.
