On December 7, 2021, FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "FAW Jiefang"),GCL Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "GCL Energy") and Envision Power Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Envision Power") jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Changchun, with Hu Hanjie, assistant general manager of CHINA FAW, chairman of FAW Jiefang and secretary of the party committee, Wu Bilei, general manager and deputy secretary of the party committee, Fei Zhi, president of GCL Energy, and executive director of Envision Power. Zhao Weijun, President of China, attended the signing ceremony.
With this signing, the three parties have reached a high degree of agreement on the development of power exchange products, technical iteration upgrades, standardization, etc., and will carry out the integrated matching development of batteries, power exchange modules, power stations and vehicles in the future. Combined with the operational difficulties, pain points and blockages of the new energy market, the three parties will synchronously lay out the green energy development, energy trading, transportation platform, used car disposal and other links, build a new format and model of the new energy commercial vehicle market, and set a strategic cooperation goal of "100 million stations" within three years.
