According to the Inner Mongolia Daily, on December 1, Huang Zhiqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Regional Party Committee and executive vice chairman of the Autonomous Region, went to Manzhouli City to supervise and investigate the epidemic prevention and control work. He stressed that it is necessary to resolutely shoulder the political responsibility for epidemic prevention and control, take resolute and decisive measures, plug the loopholes in prevention and control quickly and strictly, and make every effort to curb the momentum of the spread of the epidemic.

According to the official website of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Government, Huang Zhiqiang assisted the chairman of the autonomous region in taking charge of urban and rural construction, commerce, finance, civil air defense, and opening up to the outside world.

Huang Zhiqiang, a "post-70s" cadre, has just been elected as a member of the Standing Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee and is also the youngest member of the new regional party committee leadership team.

Huang Zhiqiang served as President and Party Secretary of Bank of China Liaoning Branch, Deputy General Manager and Party Committee Member of China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation, Deputy General Manager and Party Committee Member of CITIC Group Co., Ltd., and took up the position of Vice Chairman of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Member of the Government Party Group in December 2019.
