United scored a chaotic Premier League match against Arsenal, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring twice in a 3-2 win.
Arsenal kicked off first at the start of the game and Ben White's corner header directly threatened United's goal. Luckily for the hosts, Marcus Rashford cleared the threat in front of the goal line.

United threatened with a long-range shot through Diogo Darrow, but in the 13th minute they fell behind in strange circumstances. As the home team broke out of the corner, David De Gea collapsed under the touch of his own players. Emil Smith Rowe didn't realise what was happening and he shot the ball into the bottom corner of the goal and the United goalkeeper was still on the floor. Martin Atkinson paused briefly while consulting with his officials before deciding the goal was valid, with Arsenal taking the lead 1-0 to break the deadlock.
Arsenal could have quickly entered the box after an attack by Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odgard to double their lead, but the Brazilian's efforts were pulled away. United then began to tighten their grip on the ball, trying to break through on their left, before half-time Fred broke into the box on the left and then passed the ball to waiting Fernandez. The Portuguese calmly pushed past Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale in the penalty area and they were rewarded as United equalised 1-1.
With only six minutes in the second half, United took the lead. Marcus Rashford received a beautiful reverse pass from Diogo Dalot and pulled the ball back to Ronaldo, who pushed a shot inside the box. However, within 3 minutes, Arsenal immediately rebounded. Martinelli received a pass from Thomas Patti and the Brazilian pounced on Ordgarde, who nudged a gentle push into the net inside the box.
However, in the 67th minute, Odgard went from hero to sinner and the Norwegian genius fouled Fred in the penalty area. After consulting with courtside monitors, Atkinson awarded United a penalty and Ronaldo took the crucial winning goal.
Arsenal continued to struggle for an equaliser and Saka had some hopeful moments but didn't succeed. In the end, neither side achieved anything more, and United relied on Ronaldo's penalty to beat Arsenal 3-2.
