People's Daily Chengdu, December 2 -- At the end of November, the Chengshuang Avenue and Xihanggang Avenue interconnection project undertaken by China Wuye Group was fully opened to traffic. Since then, from Chengshuang Avenue to Shuangliu Airport, it can be directly connected to Shuangliu Airport, realizing a 5-minute commuting circle and alleviating the traffic pressure during peak hours.
It is understood that the interchange project between Chengshuang Avenue and Xihanggang Avenue is located in the eastern boundary of the starting area of Chengdu International Airport Business District, which is the intersection node of Chengshuang Avenue and Xihanggang Avenue, the main road of traffic, and also the hub node for the conversion of the starting area of the airport business district and Shuangliu Airport and Chengdu City.
As a fast road connecting Shuangliu District Airport High-tech Industry New City to Tianfu New District, the Chengshuang Avenue and Xihanggang Avenue Interconnection Project not only solves the problem of poor travel to and from the airport for citizens, but also builds a 5-minute commuting circle of "Airport Business District to Shuangliu Airport", which is of great significance to promoting the rapid economic development of the area.
