"Electronic sensors have been installed in the greenhouse, and data such as humidity, temperature and insect pests are controlled in real time. With the help of the 'shed commander', 600 acres of sweet potatoes can be easily managed with the touch of a finger. Liu Tianhe, a farmer who has been planting land for half a lifetime, did not expect that growing sweet potatoes would become so easy.

On November 26, the reporter walked into the Drinking Maquan Potato Industry Cooperative in Gangpo Village, Juqiao Town, Qibin District, Hebi City, where the person in charge, Liu Tianhe, and more than a dozen farmers were carrying sweet potatoes from the 2,500-square-meter cellar and preparing to load trucks and send them to all parts of the country.

"The sweet potato storage temperature needs to be kept constant. In the past, I needed to go to the cellar often for artificial ventilation, afraid that the sweet potatoes would become moldy and deteriorated, and now with the 'shed commander', after exceeding the temperature, the cellar will automatically start the exhaust equipment, saving time and effort! Looking at the 1.5 million kilograms of sweet potatoes in the cellar, Liu Tianhe said with a smile.

The "shed commander" that Liu Tianhe has praised successively is actually the in-depth implementation of rural industry digitalization in Qibin District, and actively explores the specific application of a new model of digital rural development: by installing a full set of digital monitoring equipment such as intelligent monitoring, small weather stations, and soil sensors in the greenhouse, managers can fully grasp the agricultural production status with only one mobile phone.

As one of the first batch of digital rural pilots in the country, digital technologies represented by cloud computing, big data, and the Internet of Things are promoting the traditional agriculture in Qibin District to intelligence and digital transformation, similar to the smart agricultural park of the Drinking Maquan Potato Industry Cooperative, and now there are 6 in the district. However, the meaning of "digital" does not stop there.

"At present, we have extended the tentacles of 'digitalization' to all aspects of rural revitalization, so that 'Internet +' can truly serve rural areas and farmers." Li Weiqiang, deputy director of the Agriculture and Rural Bureau of Qibin District, introduced.

Under the leadership of Li Weiqiang, the reporter came to the compound of the village committee of Tsuka Zhang Village in Juqiao Town, and the first thing that caught his eye was the "Digital Treasure Box Square of Tsukil Zhang Village". In the small square, there are new infrastructures that integrate digital elements, such as self-service car wash machines, shared charging piles, shared express cabinets, and shared water dispensers.

"With a charging pile at the doorstep, there is no need to run to the district to charge." Talking about this row of smart devices installed in the village, Li Qiting, a villager who is charging his own new energy electric vehicle, can't help but give a thumbs up.

Thanks to the promotion of digital technology, the lives of the villagers in Tsuka Erzhang Village are quietly changing. "This platform brings together 8 sections such as smart party building, village affairs openness, villager services, and 5G smart agriculture, so that villagers can not only intuitively understand the history of the village, construction layout and surrounding environment, but also learn more about the development of village affairs work, which greatly improves the efficiency of rural governance." Xing Yujie, a staff member of the Digital Village Information Center of Zierzhang Village, opened the service platform of the village to introduce to reporters that the center can also provide villagers with services such as government services, living expenses, purchase and sale of agricultural materials, and deposits and withdrawals of agricultural resources, so that villagers can truly enjoy the development dividends of the era of "running less errands and running more data".

"The 'Digital Treasure Box' and the Digital Village Service Platform are our customized services of 'one village, one package' in the villages under our jurisdiction around the fields of production, ecology and life. At present, the construction of 5 customized digital villages such as Gangpo Village, Niuhengling Village and Tsukaezhang Village has been basically completed. Li Weiqiang said that they will continue to promote the construction of digital villages with high quality, and show a new atmosphere and new deeds on the road to comprehensively promote rural revitalization.
