"I joined the police in 2006 and spent 15 years in the police." Wei Xinju said that when he was young, he hummed "a few degrees of wind and rain, a few degrees of spring and autumn..." He once dreamed of one day becoming a righteous chivalrous guest. The dream-chasing teenager finally realized his dream and became a people's policeman.

However, when he really put on this police uniform, he knew that the burden on his shoulders was as heavy as a thousand junks.

Thousands of miles of running, wind and food sleeping, three times through the door and not entering, promising children to play together but repeatedly breaking the appointment... It's all a home-cooked thing.

"It's nothing like being bitter or tired, and sometimes you have to face the test of life and death." Wei Xinju talks about the thrilling process when he led the team to solve a burglary case.

In 2018, the police in Xiangcheng County received a report from the masses that a gang had repeatedly carried out "moving-style" burglary, and items such as electric blankets and kettles were not spared. In the early morning of one day in May, after full research and judgment, the police locked the suspect, and Wei Xinju led the team to carry out the arrest.

After Wei Xinju drove after the vehicle driven by the suspect, he rushed to the front first, and the warning did not deter the extremely vicious gangsters. 3 criminal suspects with crowbars, wrenches, etc. besieged up, one of them picked up the crowbar, smashed hard to Wei Xinju's head, he used his left arm to block it, the pain of the drill heart made him subconsciously use his other hand to cover the wound, the suspect took the opportunity to escape. Three days later, with a plaster cast on his arm, he led the team again and successfully netted the gang members.

From the police for many years, Wei Xinju has experienced too many dangers, but the sense of achievement and value after successfully solving the case made him feel that the fear at that time was not worth mentioning.

Seek wisdom to solve the big case of online gambling

In July 2020, Wei Xinju was transferred to the head of the special class to solve a cross-border online gambling case. I have not handled such a case, and my eyes are black, what should I do? He humbly learned from his peers in brother provinces and cities, consulted experts, nibbled on books, and sought inspiration and case-handling methods from typical cases.

During the case handling period, he traveled for more than two months, the longest time for 32 consecutive days. In search of a breakthrough in the case, he took only 4 hours of rest a day for 23 consecutive days.

In order to find out the criminal process, he registered an account at his own expense, learned about the process of online gambling, and recorded the locking evidence in detail. He and his comrades-in-arms traveled to Fujian, Guizhou, Guangdong and other places, traveling thousands of kilometers. He and his comrades-in-arms rode shared bicycles, using the form of relay races to track suspects riding electric scooters in sections. In the weather of nearly 40 ° C, they squatted in the roadside flower bed for a day, and a squat was a night. They successfully found out the location and activity trajectory of the criminal gang, successfully arrested 47 criminal suspects, and froze more than 210 million yuan of funds involved in the case.

The successful detection of this case has been highly affirmed by the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, and it has also provided experience for the brother public security organs to solve such cases. The public security organs in Beijing, Sichuan, Chongqing, and other places have sent people to the Xiangcheng County Public Security Bureau to "learn from the scriptures."

Whenever he thought about this, his heart was full of guilt.

In February 2021, due to the needs of his work, he was transferred to the Zhanbei police station as the director. The work of the police station is more complicated, and he must not only handle the case as always, but also deal with the short affairs of the east and the west. In his heart, the affairs of the masses, no matter how big or small, are big things, and serving the masses in the jurisdiction has become his new goal.
