Lanzhou, November 24 (Yan Jiao) reporters learned from the Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism on the 24th that Gansu will continue to tap the potential of Hong Kong and Macao teenagers to travel in the mainland under the background of normalization of epidemic prevention and control, enrich the product content of Hong Kong and Macao study tour routes in Gansu Province, and let Hong Kong and Macao teenagers deepen their Silk Road cultural experience through "travel + study".

"I was attracted by the beautiful melody of Dunhuang songs and the singing voices of the performers, and I could feel the dialect and life of the locals through the opera, as well as the strong historical and cultural atmosphere of Dunhuang and the ancient stories." Yu Jialan, a student at Macau's Chen Ruiqi Yongyuan Middle School, said after learning to sing dunhuang opera after experiencing Dunhuang opera.

In recent years, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Gansu Province, with the help of the working mechanism of the Hong Kong and Macao Youth Mainland Study Tour Alliance, relying on Gansu's rich historical and cultural resources, highlighting the organic combination of travel and study, planning to create a theme route for Hong Kong and Macao teenagers to study tours, repeatedly organizing and inviting young students from Hong Kong and Macao to enter the silk road node cities in Gansu Province, through special courses, case studies, cultural experiences, volunteer services and other activities, in-depth understanding of Gansu's long history and splendid culture, and enhancing the sense of identity of Hong Kong and Macao teenagers to the national culture.

Recently, the "2021 Dunhuang-Macao Twin Cities Youth Cultural Exchange and Service Learning Action" recommended and submitted by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Gansu Province was selected as the key project of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in the 2021 Mainland and Hong Kong and Macao Cultural and Tourism Exchanges, and the product "Border Pass Mingyue Dunhuang Dream Dunhuang - Poetry and Distant Theme Study Practice Education Course" was rated as the 2021 Hong Kong and Macao Youth Mainland Study Potential Product.

Gansu is located in the throat of economic and cultural exchanges between the east and the West, with a long history, rich culture, unique natural scenery, strong ethnic customs, many grotto temples, Great Wall Passes, towers and pavilions, ancient city ruins, etc., as well as a variety of types of intangible cultural heritage.

In the next step, Gansu plans to work with the cultural tourism industry in Hong Kong and Macao to jointly build a government-supported, multi-party participation and market-oriented operation of the study tour service and work system, so as to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the long-hong Kong-Macao youth study tour market.
