Ms. Du Chaoyuan of Luolan Scenic Community in Haiyang City touched the warm radiator at home, and her heart was warm: "These days the cold tide has struck, the outdoor is about to drop to zero degrees, we used nuclear energy heating early." I feel that I am ahead of the times, there is no need to burn coal, the air is clean and fresh, and more importantly, the price is cheaper. Talking about taking the lead in using nuclear energy for heating, Du Chaoyuan's face was full of smiles.

On November 9, the State Power Investment "Warm Core No. 1" was put into operation in Haiyang City, Yantai, marking another important step in the financial support of the Shandong Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China in terms of financial support for the "double carbon" goal. It is reported that in order to support the construction of nuclear energy heating projects, the bank stepped up the approval of loans of 180 million yuan, and the first phase of 50 million yuan has been invested, effectively meeting the project capital needs and helping Haiyang City become the first "zero carbon" heating city in the country.

The reporter learned that the nuclear energy heating project is exclusively provided by the Agricultural Bank of China to provide financial support, the bank not only for the project to strive for a lower interest rate level, but also in the project loan investigation, approval, lending and other links to open up a "green channel", the Agricultural Bank of Shandong Branch, Yantai Branch, Haiyang City Branch three-level linkage, front and back office parallel operations, only 45 days to issue the loan in place.

After the project was put into operation, Haiyang Nuclear Power Unit 1 became the world's largest cogeneration unit, replacing the local 12 coal-fired boilers, saving 100,000 tons of raw coal, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 180,000 tons, soot by 691 tons, nitrogen oxides by 1,123 tons, and sulfur dioxide by 1,188 tons per heat season, equivalent to planting 1,000 hectares of broad-leaved forests and reducing heat emissions to the environment by 1.3 million gigajoules.

"Haiyang has become the country's first 'zero carbon' heating city, and we are proud to be a committed financial helper." The people of Haiyang have used nuclear energy for heating this winter, and we seem to see the beautiful picture of 'cultivating a beautiful China' and adding a touch of ABC green. Song Guangtao, president of the Yantai branch of the Agricultural Bank of China, said emotionally.

Nuclear heating covers the entire Haiyang urban area, covering an area of nearly 4.5 million square meters, benefiting 200,000 residents. At the same time, due to the reduction of nuclear energy heating costs, the residential heating cost of Haiyang City has been reduced by 1 yuan per building square meter compared with previous years, and the nuclear energy heating project has not only brought warmth to the people, but also reduced the economic burden, and has been unanimously praised.
