On November 22, Zhang Jianguo, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, and his party came to our county to investigate the implementation of scientific and technological innovation and the "double reduction" policy. Tian Wenjun, director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, Zhang Zhidong, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress and chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions, Wang Peng, deputy county governor, and responsible persons of relevant units directly under the county investigated together.
Zhang Jianguo and his entourage successively went to Shanxi Qingchuang Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Juhequan Liquor Co., Ltd., Shanxi Shude Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd., and Shilou Middle School in Qiaozitou Village, Peigou Township, our county, to conduct on-the-spot investigations.
In the afternoon, Zhang Jianguo and his party went to our county's Chinese vocational and technical training school, Dongfeng Primary School, Shilou No. 1 Middle School, Vocational Middle School and other places to learn more about the implementation of the "double reduction" policy in our county through on-site observation and listening to reports.
During the investigation, Zhang Jianguo fully affirmed the achievements made by our county in scientific and technological innovation and the implementation of the "double reduction" policy, and put forward specific opinions and suggestions in a targeted manner.
Zhang Jianguo stressed that first, we must improve our political standing, deepen our understanding of the extreme importance of science and technology leading development, effectively enhance our sense of mission and urgency, focus on superior scientific and technological innovation resources, and continuously enhance the support for scientific and technological innovation and development; second, we must base ourselves on the reality of Shilou, give full play to our own advantages, and transform scientific and technological innovation and scientific and technological achievements into a powerful engine that promotes the high-quality and high-speed development of Shilou; third, we must implement the "double reduction" policy with high standards, effectively reduce the burden on students, improve the quality of teaching, and ensure the treatment of teachers.
