The people of Yangjiazhai were also like this, they were worried and afraid all the time, and the people in the village picked up a lot of weapons and ammunition on the battlefield to arm themselves, and the self-defense forces led by Yang Jun and Wang Hong also increased a lot, with nearly a hundred people.
One day, a regiment of the 189th Division of the Nationalist Army deployed to block the enemy in the Lieshan area of Suixian County, and because the gap between the enemy's and our weapons was too large, after our army's position was bombed many times by ghost planes and artillery, one regiment suffered more casualties. After dark, the regiment retreated, and later retreated to Yangjiazhai, where the people, under the leadership of Yang Jun and Wang Hong, actively healed and fed the nationalist generals.
The next day of the night, before dawn, when the nationalist generals were preparing to move, the Japanese Kou suddenly caught up, the yangjiazhai gate quickly closed, and the self-defense forces and the nationalist generals together shot the Japanese Kou from a commanding height.
Together, the soldiers and civilians repelled the devils' repeated charges. It was not until it was almost dark that the enemy brought in artillery before they opened the gates and walls.
Together with the Self-Defense Forces, the officers and men of the Nationalist Army fought a white-knife battle against the enemy, and the SDF and the Nationalist officers and men sacrificed a lot. Yang Jun showed great bravery and tenacity in this white-knife battle, because of his large size and strength, the enemy was killed or caught and thrown to death by him when he could hardly get close to him, and after he killed nearly ten Japanese koku, many japanese koku killed him together, and finally he died heroically and magnificently.
After Wang Hong saw her husband fall, she continued to kill the hero with tears in her eyes, because Wang Hong's shooting skills were good, and in this fight against the Japanese Kou, she shot and killed one of the devils and several Japanese Ko.
Later, Wang Hong took her children with the common people under the cover of the nationalist generals and moved away at night.
Wang Hong, with hatred for the Japanese Kou, joined the nationalist army with the remaining sixty or so members of the Self-Defense Forces; his children were raised by the children's grandfather and grandmother.
Later, Wang Hong led her team members to carry out a heroic guerrilla war with the generals of the Nationalist Army in the Suizao area.
On May 6, Wang Hong and the nationalist generals came to The Mountain again, and together with the nationalist officers and men stationed at the mountain, they jointly resisted the Japanese Kou.
On May 8, suixian county fell. The position of Lingshan was also captured by the devils.
Since The Mountain was a very important barrier on the outskirts of the Japanese Kou when it was stationed in Suixian County, the Japanese Kou set up a stronghold here, built bunkers, and focused on guarding it; and the Mountain was also an obstacle that our army had to remove when it attacked the county seat of Suixian County. Therefore, there have been three fierce battles of land between the officers and men of our army and the Japanese Kou for the stronghold of The Mountain.
In the three battles of contention, the officers and men of our army dispatched a large number of nationalist soldiers to attack; the enemy dispatched aircraft and tanks to assist in the battle. After three battles and three changes of hands, the final stronghold was occupied by the Japanese. The officers and men of our army sacrificed several battalions of soldiers for this. In the last battle, Wang Hong was wounded and captured after shooting several ghosts, and more than a dozen of her team members and nationalist generals were also wounded and captured.
Later, the Japanese Kou took Wang Hong and the generals of the Nationalist army to the central stronghold of the Huaihe River and insulted Wang Hong.
The ferocious Japanese cut off the fingers of our anti-Japanese soldiers, cut off their noses, ears or gouged out their eyes, and tortured and tortured them day and night.
