On November 16, after the police contacted Li, they summoned him to the Zhongmu County Traffic Police Brigade, and according to the provisions of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, made a determination that Li was fully responsible for the accident, and imposed a combined fine of 520 yuan on Li for traffic violations such as hit-and-run, driving an electric vehicle on a road without a non-motorized lane and not driving on the right side.
