The reporter learned from the Jiangxi Nanchang City Museum that from late September to mid-October 2021, the Nanchang City Museum carried out rescue clean-up and excavation of ancient tombs found at the wuyue square construction site in Jinxian County. The excavation cleaned up and excavated a total of eight ancient tombs, and unearthed more than 50 artifacts, including epitaphs, celadon bowls, celadon incense burners, soul bottles (with lids), masonry land coupons, etc.
According to the excavated epitaphs, utensils and tomb shape system, the ancient tomb group was determined to be the tomb of the Jiang family in the middle of the Ming Dynasty, which is of great value for the study of the social politics, economy and culture of the middle Ming Dynasty in Nanchang.
