At about 16:00 on November 15, the police of the Hongya Public Security Criminal Investigation Brigade found that someone in Hongjiang Village, Liujiang Town, Hongya County, was using a bird-catching net to illegally hunt wild birds. And at about 17:00 on the same day, the criminal suspect Li Moumou, who came to take birds, was arrested at the scene. After a surprise inspection of Li Moumou's residence, 4 iron cages and 2 bird catching nets were seized on the spot.
After investigation, from November 5 to 15, 2021, criminal suspect Li Moumou carried out illegal hunting in the mountain forest of Hongjiang Village in Liujiang Town by setting up a bird catching net. And use two bird catching nets to illegally hunt 7 wild animals under national secondary key protection and 20 wild animals under national third protection.
At present, the criminal suspect Li Moumou has been taken criminal compulsory measures by Hongya Public Security according to law because of suspected illegal hunting, and this case is being further investigated.
