Wanchun Temple Cao Dong Sect Zheng and Vice Sect

Baiyun Cave

The inscription Wanchun Temple", "Cao Dong Zheng Pai", is similar to the Ancestral Court Sect of the Shaolin Temple under the Song Mountain under Cao Dong. The shōnen-ji sect is: "Fukuhui Zhizi jue, the original circle can be enlightened." Zhou Hongpu Guangzong, Daoqing Tongxuanzu. Pure and true as the sea, Cham Silent Pure Virgin. According to this, it is known that the Ankang Wanchun Temple is not a Linji Sect Monastery of the Nanyue Huairang Lineage, but a Cao Dong Sect Monastery of the Qingyuan Xingsi Lineage.

Nanyue Huaizhi and Qingyuan Xingsi were both high disciples under the Seat of the Six Ancestors Huineng, and later the Huai rang lineage was divided into the Linji Sect and the Huanyang Sect; the Qingyuan Xingsi lineage was divided into three sects, namely the CaoDong Sect, the Yunmen Sect, and the Fayan Sect, and the two lineages were divided into five sects. Later, the Huanglong and Yangqi factions were divided from Linji, and a total of five sects and seven sects were combined before and after, and they flourished for a while.

The Cao Dong Sect was created by the Tang monk Dongshan Liangli and his disciple Cao Shan Ben Shu, and is said to be named after the Six Ancestors Cao Xi Huineng and Dong Shan Liang Price. From the relationship between directors and body use, it is explained that things are not different, and there is no obstacle to body use. After Liang's death, Ben silently lived in Dongshan's saying, and continued to talk about the "five kings", explaining that "the king is positive, and the subject is partial." The subject is partial to the king, the king is the middle to the subject, and the king is forced to join the sage and bring it." Therefore, its Zen style is known as "Huihu Meticulous", and in the Five Zen Schools, its status is second only to that of the Linji Sect.

Songshan Shaolin Temple, during the Tang and Song dynasties, was still the abbot of the Ten Fangs, and there were five monks living and practicing zen Buddhism, Linji, Huiyang, Dharma Eye, Cloud Gate and Caodong. Unifying the five houses and honoring Cao Dong as authentic is the Fuyu Zen master. Fuyu Zen master, Yuan Churen. He once worshiped the Caodong master Wan Song Xingxiu as his teacher and received his mantle. The discovery of the Stone Stele of the Shaolin Sect of the Cao Dong Sect, although it cannot rewrite the history of Wanchun Temple, is puzzling. The Xing'an Zhou Zhi says that Wanchun Temple was "created in Nanyue Huairang". Huai Rang is a native of the county, so most of the monasteries in the county are Linji sects. In the early years of Daoguang, the "New Zen Forest Statute Monument" of Sungai Temple also said that "Fu Jian Cong Seat, Li Qing Regulation, Zhao from Matsu, Bai Zhangzu". Matsu is the disciple Daoyi of Huai Rang Zen Master; Bai Zhang is the Huaihai Zen master under Matsu Gate, and is a disciple of Nanyue Huai Rang, who is called Bai Zhangzu because of Bai Zhangshan in Juhong Prefecture (present-day Fengxin County, Jiangxi). It can be seen that in the Qing Dynasty, Ankang Buddhism is the World of the Southern Sect Zen Huai Rang.

The emergence of the Caodong sect of Wanchun Temple should be in the middle of the Qing Dynasty Daoguang. Therefore, following fuyu's example of writing the Origin of the Shaolin Temple under the CaoDong Sect, he wrote the Cao Dong Sect Shaolin Sect Under the Wanchun Temple Sect that begins with the word "Xing". Its beginning with the word "Xing" means that the Caodong Sect of Wanchun Temple in Xing'an Province, Shaanxi Province, will surely prosper and develop, and the sect will have a long history. Unfortunately, the times have shifted, and the Wanchun Temple has no one since then, and it has passed to the beginning of the Republic of China, and it has disappeared in shape, and it has been left behind by the years of the "Cao Dong Zheng and Vice Sect Stele", which makes people think of it.
