Wang Liusheng (1917.05.00--- 1995.12.22), formerly known as Wang Shengqi. A native of Tongmu Village, Shanglitongmu Town, Jiangxi. He joined the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army in July 1930, joined the Communist Youth League of China in December 1930, and became a member of the Communist Party of China in July 1932. He successively served as the trumpeter in the division headquarters, the 2nd company of the 3rd Regiment, and the 10th Regiment of the 4th Red Division. Participated in one to five anti-"encirclement and suppression" campaigns. In 1934, he accompanied the Army on the Long March, and later served as the commander of the Red 4th Division and the 10th Regiment, and the instructor of the 2nd Company of the 12th Regiment of the 4th Division. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he successively served as the instructor of the 10th Company of the 3rd Battalion, 686th Regiment, 343rd Brigade, 115th Division, the commander of the 2nd Battalion of the 686th Regiment, the political instructor of the 1st Battalion of the 686th Regiment, the political commissar of the Second Brigade of the Lunan Detachment, the political commissar of the Shandong Yixian Detachment, the political commissar of the Shandong Border Joint Detachment, the chief of staff of the 5th Regiment of the 2nd Brigade of the 115th Division of the Eighth Route Army, and the political commissar of the 5th Regiment of the Lunan Military Region. After 1941, he successively served as the political commissar of the Third Military Subdistrict of the Lunan Military Region and the secretary of the Third Prefectural Committee of the Lunan District, the commander and political commissar of the 5th Regiment of the Lunan Military Region, and the political commissar of the 23rd Regiment of the 8th Division of the Shandong Field Army. During the Liberation War, he successively served as the political commissar of the 8th Division of the 3rd Column of the East China Field Army, the political commissar of the 65th Division of the 22nd Army of the Third Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and the director of the Political Department of the 22nd Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. He led his troops to participate in the battles of TengXian, Zaozhuang and Subei, Luoyang, Jinan, Huaihai, and The Crossing of the River, as well as the liberation of Jintang and Zhoushan Islands. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he successively served as the director of the Political Department of the 22nd Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the political commissar of the 20th Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the second political commissar of the Shanghai Garrison District of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the director of the Political Department of the Nanjing Military Region of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the deputy political commissar and director of the Political Department of the Military Region, the first political commissar of the Wuhan Military Region of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and the political commissar of the engineering corps of the Chinese People's Liberation Army after 1975. He is a deputy to the Fourth National People's Congress, a deputy to the Eighth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, an alternate member of the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Central Committees, and a member of the Central Advisory Committee. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of major general, the Order of August 1, 3rd Class, the Order of Independence and Freedom of the Second Class, the Liberation Medal of the First Class, and in 1988, he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Red Star of the First Class.
