A good mood will definitely start a good day, which requires "bright" efforts.
"University" talks about "Mingmingde", "Tantra" talks about "clear-mindedness", and we now say that we must be "clear about things" to be human, so how can we be "clear"?
The left side of "Ming" is "day", which represents yang, strength, and light, and the right side is "moon", which represents yin, softness, and darkness, and one yin and one yang are the way, complementing each other, and the two are inseparable, which is dialectical epistemology. That is to say, the key to "Mingmingde" and "Mingshi" lies in understanding the dialectics of yin and yang, knowing how to grasp the operation law of things, good and bad, good and evil, advance and retreat, strong and weak, all in the heart of the self, without borrowing an extra point from the outside - this is the original mind, that is, knowledge.
In article 118 of the Book of Transmissions, Ji Yuanheng asked Mr. Ji, "Why is knowledge the essence of the mind?" ”
The gentleman said, "For knowledge is the place of clarity in Tenri." This spirit knows that there is a Master, that is, the original mind; if given to man, it is human nature. You see that little child, from a young age, knows how to be filial to his parents and respect his elders, why? Because the spirit in his heart is not obscured by any selfish desires, and is completely filled and expanded, it completely becomes the essence of his mind, and becomes one with the great virtues of heaven and earth. However, those below the level of saints are blinded by worldly or personal selfish desires, and they become the one who strives to attain knowledge in order to attain their own original hearts. ”
The example given by Yang Ming is the best explanation for "clear mind seeing nature": "Heart" and "sex" are two sides of the same body of knowledge, the heart dominates knowledge, and sex is the concrete embodiment of knowledge; the child's heart has not suffered too much from worldliness and selfish desires, he may not be able to read and calculate, and it is precisely because he does not think too much, so he naturally does not have too many distractions, naturally there are countless good qualities, and when he encounters a thing, he can naturally make a basic judgment, which is the so-called "clear mind seeing".
For another example, when we drive across the road and encounter a zebra crossing, you will subconsciously loosen the accelerator, step on the brakes, give way to pedestrians, look around for safety, and then carefully drive over, even if it is a green light, for safety reasons, you will slow down to prevent unexpected situations.
Let's see that at the zebra crossing "loosen the throttle, step on the brakes", this is almost a one-shot action, it is your "mind" that directs your "knowledge", and then takes the necessary action at the same time.
How did this "idea" come about?
It is the heart that sends it, so the heart becomes the master of your body and consciousness, and the reaction is in your brain, that is, cognition, and it takes action quickly; and the "courtesy of pedestrians" also occurs at the same time, indicating that you have the good virtue of "fearing life and respecting others" in your heart, because this virtue is also one of the internal driving forces that prompt you to make the action of "loosening the throttle and stepping on the brakes", and it is also one of the self-restraints. Subsequently, the person who is courteous may be infected by your movements, he nods and smiles at you, raises his hand and bends down, and thanks you, so that your heart is rewarded - this spiritual reward may make you happy all day, so that the working state and work efficiency of the day will be improved, and this spiritual and spiritual pleasure can often last a long time.
And this process is not only the relationship between "heart" and "sex", but also the relationship between "knowing" and "doing", and making a real effort on the "heart" is actually to find the true self at the source where a thought is initiated, return to the true disposition of the self, and find the supreme "knowledge" of the self- the supreme "knowledge" of the self, the supreme goodness, such actions and results are naturally pleasing and satisfactory to oneself.
On the contrary, if someone has selfish desires in the "heart" and "knowledge", such as arguing with the wife this morning, the mood is very unhappy, you may drive fast, will not slow down when crossing the zebra crossing, it is easy to lose consciousness when there are many cars, and the cold chases the butt of other people's cars, why? There is resentment in the heart (which is also a manifestation of selfish desires), which is what the University says: "If there is anger in the body, it cannot be corrected; if there is fear, it must not be corrected; if there is happiness, it must not be corrected; if there is sorrow, it cannot be corrected." If you don't have a right heart, the consequences will affect your emotions, and bad luck will be touched by you.
What's more, investment failure, emotional frustration, driving is not only rude to people, but also driving deliberately hit people, where is the driver at this time or people, it is simply a demon, why? His heart has been completely blinded by extreme resentment and selfish desires, so that he cannot see a glimmer of light in his heart, and he has lost the last bit of sanity, and the result is not only to harm one person, but even to harm the whole family of others - of course, to put himself and his family into it, to live in the shadows all his life, and to affect the next generation, which is not worth it.
Therefore, we say that every moment a good thought arises, and when a good thought exists, there will be no more evil thoughts, which requires hard work in the field, a conscience everywhere, a conscience everywhere, a conscience in everything, and finally everyone has a conscience.
