Indulge in the tenderness of the smell of wheat and coffee

Autumn and winter make the colors of the city become deeper, and the air is full of cold breath. We in the streets and alleys covet the tenderness and warmth of this season, and we can't hide from being provoked by the strong coffee and wheat toast. As the healing aromas of coffee and bread creep up in the streets and alleys, spaces of all textures open up in trivial times. They are like symbols of quality life, as if as long as they exist, they can bring us a full sense of happiness.

Using the bread kiln as a prototype, the designer extracted materials with natural handmade flavors such as "natural clay" and "clay bricks" as the main components of the space, hoping that the space could bring a rustic warmth to guests like Cycle & Cycle's bread. The hand-drawn design of the bread shape of the façade also expresses a gentle and cute design through rough materials, and the slightly clumsy sense of violation creates a more intimate atmosphere.

The use of geometric façade language allows the two materials to merge and intertwine with each other on the overall extended façade, and also expresses the concept of symbiotic growth between the brand and the customer.

In the interior space that is closer to the guests, the designer has incorporated a lot of teak wood to make the space warmer and more moist.

Drawing on the traditional Catalan vault practice, the designer also created a unique "curved brick arch ceiling" for the interior, making the material of the clay brick softer in the interior space.

With the help of different ways, the designer opened the façade of the space, enriching our dining experience at the same time, but also to maximize the continuous communication and breathing of "in-store" and "outside", so that the store and guests inside and outside the store can achieve a deeper level of communication and interaction.

Located in Chengdu's old neighborhood, this American bakery & light food restaurant is located between the Funanhe and Wangping neighborhoods. As an open-plan street shop, the interior on the first floor of the residential building is divided into 4 vertical windowless spaces, connected by passages. The entire space circulation line is distributed in a circular line, free and smooth, while maintaining an effective "private distance" from each other, so that everyone in the space can feel comfortable and interesting.

The main material of the space is made of silver metallic paint, gray art paint, long strip glazed tiles and log old floor, which not only fully takes into account the echo with the material of the door head, but also gives a full sense of layering and contrast visually. The furniture is mainly based on the natural brushed stainless steel and transparent acrylic, which together with the wall surface presents a silver gray tone with different textures. Under the background of warm light, it not only enriches the sense of indoor layering and spatial atmosphere, but also uses the treatment of light and dark relationships, so that the limited area can also maintain a suitable social space.

Considering the characteristics of the space closed and windowless, in order to achieve the best state of natural lighting during the day in the store, the designer specially laid out cloud and mist glass bricks for the wall of the handwashing area to maximize the introduction of natural light into the indoor space, while also retaining the privacy and permeability of the handwashing area function.

In addition to the glass tile and glazed texture of the wall, the store also has three silver texture walls. The texture expression that is integrated into the space and is different from the conventional makes the wall see silver and not flash, and the artistic sense is full.

The Krujok Café project, located in the heart of Voronezh, Russia, was completed by architect Eduard Eremchuk in collaboration with designer Katy Pititskaya. The design is inspired by the light shape of the donuts, the melting sheen and the cream, the soul of desserts. The rounded interior is like a sweet Russian donut, which makes you instantly fall into this delicious pastry world.

The vestibule is made up of rounded and glossy custom furniture combined with off-white walls, reminiscent of the dough that makes pastries. The colorful popcorn sculptures on the walls, created by Russian artist Elena Minaev, echo the important ingredients for pastry chefs to decorate donuts.

In the back hall, the designer has made a new interpretation of the melting luster of the donuts in a spatial way. Mysterious purple tones collide with soft velvet fabrics to create textured wall decorations. In addition to the customized special-shaped coffee tables, the hall also has a chandelier that looks like a kneaded dough, and the small details and the front hall form a clever echo.

The bathroom is treated with a monochromatic finish, and the floor to the ceiling is completely covered in pure beige, as if the creamy sweet filling in the pastry has melted into the surrounding space. Overall, the café's creamy hues, bright purple light boxes, and furniture of various shapes contrast with the surrounding gray concrete, creating an incomparably sophisticated dream world.

With the mosaic art on the wall as the design focus, the designer vividly interpreted the name DOT with the theme of pixels. Using pixels as the starting point for all images, the designer deliberately used strange images to express pure and strong emotions with patterns in DOT. It is intended to show that when we experience some feelings of loss and uneasiness, we need to treat ourselves with a cup of coffee and then continue to go full speed.

In addition to the unique mosaic design, there is a strip of screen with scrolling text running through the space, just like the adrenaline flowing in the blood vessels after drinking twice as much espresso, and the changing rhythm creates a jumping effect for the space.

The DOT coffee station also features two small tables and an alcove that can accommodate a small number of customers. The wood used in the space comes from old beams that were components in some barns many years ago. The durable, ancient materials contrast with the delicate and cold stainless steel, as if telling their own story.

Through the transparent façade, the café seems to be integrated with the whole city. The designer replaced the common door with a glass sliding door, allowing the energy of the city to seep into the interior. The completely open space showcases the hospitality of the venue, leaving you with just a short walk away from the caffeine you need.

Located in the French Concession of Shanghai, which combines fireworks with fashionable novelty, ad hoC Coffee Shop is also influenced by the surrounding architecture, full of dramatic and intense attractions. From the red semi-outdoor atrium into the café, the green and white mosaic marble connects the floor, bench and bar, and the familiar pattern and light texture reflect the coffee history of the old Shanghai in the 30s.

Pieces of micro-cement walls and ceilings are surrounded by light and shadow, converging into a tunnel-like space, extending into the black mirror in front of them, reflecting the metal sculpture made of copper sheets in the middle of the space. In addition to the heaven and earth wall, the furniture, lamps and installations used for display are placed in the space in a hanging manner. The visual impact from the magic suspension technique through the pulling force also gives people the feeling of a space where the weight is lifted.

Around the focal point of the space – a 4-metre-long metal fixture table , unlike the familiar coffee scene during the day , the warm yellow light switches to a bluish-green color after nightfall. Shaking the metal wheel in front of the black mirror, the chandelier slowly rises, like a curtain rising in the theater. Kaleidoscopic intricate patterns are reflected on the walls, and the glittering images reflect on the sparkling copper sheets and mosaics, making you immersed in this changing world of light and shadow.
