A few days ago, with the approval of the Shuangyashan Municipal CPC Committee, the Shuangyashan Municipal Discipline Inspection Commission Supervision Commission conducted a case review and investigation into Liu Min, former member of the Standing Committee of the Baoqing County CPC Committee and former director of the County Economic Park Management Committee, for serious violations of discipline and the law.

After investigation, Liu Min violated the spirit of the eight provisions of the central authorities and accepted gifts in violation of the law; violated honesty and discipline and engaged in profit-making activities in violation of the law; took advantage of his position to embezzle public funds and was suspected of embezzlement; and took advantage of his position to seek benefits for others, illegally accepted property from others, and was suspected of accepting bribes.

In accordance with the "Regulations on Disciplinary Punishment of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Law of the People's Republic of China on The Law on The Punishment of Public Employees in Government Affairs," and other relevant provisions, after the Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Shuangyashan City studied and reported to the Shuangyashan Municipal CPC Committee for approval, it was decided to give Liu Min the punishment of expulsion from the party; the Shuangyashan Municipal Supervisory Commission gave him the punishment of dismissal from public office; the proceeds of his violation of discipline and law were confiscated; and his suspected criminal issues were transferred to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution according to law, and the property involved was transferred together.
