Soon, the division received orders from its superiors to block the 200th Division, an elite unit of Chiang Kai-shek's army. This division came from Jinxiang to reinforce Chiang Kai-shek's New 5th Army, which was fighting against our army at Yutai. The head of the sub-district led the 8th regiment and inserted it into the Jin (township) fish (highway) to undertake the task of blocking and attacking and reinforcing.
The military situation was urgent, and the officers and men of the whole regiment advanced rapidly against the fiery sun. Jiang Jun, who came from the south, used to take a bath, the officers and men were sweating, and many people were moving the water tanks and wooden barrels from their hometowns to take a bath outside the village. Shi Nianfa rushed up, grabbed the barrel of the gun and pulled the machine gun out, immediately felt that the hand was hot, and quickly released his hand, and saw that several blisters had been burned.
As soon as the enemy machine guns stopped, shi Nianfa blew a whistle, the warriors got up and rushed over, and the enemy was driven out of Xiaowangzhuang and desperately fled along the road. Among the fleeing enemies, an officer ran while returning fire with a Us-made carbine, looking like a platoon leader.

Near the end of the battle, the enemy's 200th Division was suddenly attacked by the 8th Regiment of the Third Division of Jiluyu, threw away its armor and retreated from the same road. The 5 squads of Shi Nianfa fought a heart-to-heart battle, captured 3 light and heavy machine guns, 8 submachine guns, rifles, and carbines, and also captured two prisoners.
