Recently, Miyazaki's classic anime "Spirited Away" has been adapted again, and will stage a stage play version of Miyazaki-style romance. The producer also released the poster of the stage drama version, and Chihiro, played by Kana Hashimoto and Moe-no- Kami-Shiraishi, made her debut for the first time.
Kana Hashimoto and Moe-no-Ueshi Shiraishi will take turns playing the role of Chihiro, the heroine of the "Spirited Away" stage play, and the two appear in the poster in Chihiro's two different shapes.
Spirited Away is a Japanese animated film produced by Studio Ghibli and directed and written by Hayao Miyazaki, first released on July 20, 2001. It was officially released in China on June 21, 2019, with a domestic box office of 31.68 billion yen (about 1.99 billion yuan) and a Chinese mainland box office of 490 million yuan.
Spirited Away stage plays will be staged at the Imperial Theatre in February and March 2022. It will be staged in Osaka in April, Fukuoka in May, Sapporo, Hokkaido in June, and Aichi Nagoya in June and July.
