On November 8, Liu Yun, director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress and secretary of the PARTY Group of the CPPCC County, led a team to the Longtai River to carry out river patrol work.

Liu Yun and his party successively went to the Longtai River exit section detection point, the White Water Bridge, the Longtai Sewage Treatment Plant, Jinma Village, longtaichang Town Xigou and other places to conduct on-the-spot investigation, listened carefully to the township and relevant departments on the key mountain flood ditch flood control, sewage pipe network encryption, river treatment within the water area, river environment treatment, river surrounding environment treatment and other work reports, and immediately studied solutions to the problems found at the scene.

Liu Yun demanded that all relevant departments should clarify the goals, refine the time points, and accelerate the progress of the construction of the Longtai River flood control project under the premise of ensuring safety and quality, and ensure that they are put into use on time. It is necessary to grasp the management of rivers as a normalized work, regularly carry out sewage concentration testing, and do a good job of record management; we must not only patrol and ignore, but earnestly do a good job of "looking back" and ensuring that the inspection will be changed; we must ensure the normal operation of sewage treatment plants and ensure that the water quality discharged into the Longtai River meets the standards; we must strengthen propaganda and education, guide the masses to develop good hygiene habits, establish a good awareness of protecting the environment, and further improve the quality of life of residents.
