In November 1993, when Tao Yuling was filming the TV series "The Woman Who Wriggled Across the Man's River", she was found to have a malignant tumor in the upper jaw of her mouth and had to be hospitalized. Since then, Tao Yuling has begun a long road of anti-cancer for more than 20 years. At that time, the doctor suggested surgery from the face incision, but this means disfiguring or even removing the eyeball, if so, how can you act? Maybe it was the actor's instinct, she had a strong thought in her mind: no matter what, she couldn't cut her face open for oral surgery, and she would never allow disfigurement. In the end, the doctor overcame the difficulty and performed a lesion resection operation in her mouth, which fortunately was very successful.
Nearly two months after the operation, Tao Yuling could not speak and could not eat, and her mouth lost almost all basic functions, so she had to communicate with people by writing notes. She wrote in her diary: "I must not sit still, I must defeat the cancer demon." Have tenacious perseverance, optimistic spirit, and actively cooperate with treatment. ”
However, the cancer cells did not take a detour. In 2011, Tao Yuling was diagnosed with lung cancer again, and she was discharged from the hospital on the seventh day of removal, and later she suffered from cell carcinoma in the body, and eventually turned the risk into ruin. Three times suffering from cancer and fighting cancer, Tao Yuling is still optimistic, she actively treats and cooperates with taking traditional Chinese medicine.
In the days of fighting with cancer demons, Tao Yuling insisted on doing "inhalation" exercises, which is a kind of aerobic fitness exercise based on walking, about six or seven hours a day, three steps a little, turning back, spitting out the old and new.
