The 9/11 incident was the worst terrorist attack in the United States and the world, with a total of 2,996 victims. According to the United Nations estimates, the damage caused by the event to the global economy even reached about $1 trillion. The incident even directly changed U.S. counterterrorism policy around the world.
But since September 11, 2001, the incident has sparked serious skepticism from all walks of life, and all kinds of shady scenes have been overwhelming. According to overseas network reports, George Bibi, a former analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), disclosed in the new book that 2 days before the 9/11 incident, Putin had personally called to warn the then US President George W. Bush that Russian intelligence agencies had learned accurate intelligence, that some people were ready to launch an attack, and that the attack had been prepared for a long time.
In addition, Britain's well-known spy agency Mi6 (MI6) has also told the White House that it must be on the lookout for the danger of imminent attacks on the US mainland. At the time, the White House didn't seem to take these reminders seriously, and the story behind it was known to women and children — two airliners were hijacked and slammed into the World Trade Center, and the two buildings collapsed one after another.
Was the Bush administration condoning the attack or was it staging a shocking and bitter plan? The outside world does not know. However, in a series of subsequent investigations into the World Trade Center, there was an uproar.
It was not until 2008 that the National Bureau of Technical Standards issued a report that after the plane crashed into the World Trade Center, the aircraft fuel leakage caused a serious fire inside the building, causing the steel structure of the World Trade Center to soften and collapse. This report was considered perfunctory by many scholars and engineers in the field of architecture to cover up the truth. Subsequently, 75 domestic architects and professors petitioned the government to re-investigate the events of 9/11 and to disclose the parameters of its collapsed model and the computer simulation process, but all were rejected.
Not only that, but some dissenting authorities have been suppressed, and Kevin Lane, director of the laboratory for the National Bureau of Technical Standards to verify the properties of World Trade Center steel, the most authoritative scientific identification company in the United States, has been suppressed. Ryan) was fired for publicly questioning the official theory of collapse. Brigham Young University's well-known nuclear physicist was "forcibly retired" for independently studying the causes of the collapse of the World Trade Center.
In addition, some more "scary" details were exposed, and Malcom Howard, a former CIA blasting expert, revealed on his deathbed that he had led a demolition squad into the World Trade Center to install explosives. However, the authenticity of the matter is debatable.
It is worth noting that US President Trump has publicly stated: "I already know that the real attackers of 9/11 are not from Iraq, but I can't say." Trump's statement may indicate that the current 9/11 information released by the US government is only the tip of the iceberg, and there are more details and contents that have become confidential for "certain reasons".
Perhaps only after 30 years, or even 50 years later, the US government can decrypt the relevant information to make the truth come to light. But what must never be forgotten is that the effects of 9/11 continue to this day, and many victims still do not receive the compensation they deserve.
