On May 17, the Sixth Session of the Fifth People's Congress of Guang'an City was concluded, and the meeting elected Zhang Wendong as vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Guang'an Municipal People's Congress by secret ballot, deng Bensen, Li Xiaoyu, Xu Wende, and Zeng Bangcai as members of the Standing Committee of the Guang'an Municipal People's Congress; Zhong Jing as vice mayor of the Guang'an Municipal People's Government; and Su Hubiao as chairman of the Guang'an Municipal Supervision Commission.
