Golden Brilliant Camellia (scientific name: Kamelia zloty) is cultivated by Mr. Jiang Zongwang of Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, and is an evergreen shrub to a small tree.
The golden camellia flowers are black-red, velvety, completely heavy-petaled, medium and large flowers, with broad and rounded petals, slightly inwardly coiled edges, neatly arranged, sometimes hexagonal, with dark veins visible on the petal surface, and dense flowers. The leaves are thick green, oval, the plant is open, the growth is vigorous, and if there is no flowering only to see the leaves, there is not much difference between the chidan, the five-colored chidan, the white jade dan and other chidan family, and the flowering period is from mid to late. It is a rare variety of camellia in the genus.
