The Ukrainian National Aviation University received an An-24 transport aircraft supplied by Antonov

On November 5, according to the decision of the previous internal meeting of the Ukrainian National Aviation University, an An-24 transport aircraft was installed in front of the teaching building of the Faculty of Computer Technology and Economics of the National Aviation University, a move intended to cultivate students' pride in the scientific and technological achievements of Ukraine and to enhance the image and attractiveness of universities and colleges. The project was personally supported by the Rector of the Ukrainian National Aviation University, Maxim Lutsky, which was provided by Antonov and the Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics of the National Aeronautical University, which provided management and maintenance.

The former Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers (kiica, now nau) was the largest higher education institution for the training of civil aviation engineers during the Soviet era, and given the huge share of An-24 aircraft in the total passenger traffic of Aeroflot ( Aeroflot ) , most graduates of the National Aeronautical University have completed their specialized course training on this type of aircraft for decades.

According to the relevant responsible person of the nau, in terms of final value, the An-24 aircraft brings together the achievements of the Ukrainian aviation industry and the field of aviation education. That is why he deserves a place at the Ukrainian National Aviation University, which should serve as a symbol of the highest achievements of the entire aviation industry in Ukraine.
