Liu Chenggan is more than twenty years older than Wanli, and he is not in Shanghai, and he has not been able to receive him, so he can be forgiven, but Wanli is not spared. This incident also shows how high the self-esteem of "Green Pepper" Wanli was at that time. At that time, Wanli was still a part-time lecturer at Peking University, and his class was also "unobstructed", saying: Scholars before Wang Guowei knew that seven or eight points said ten twelve points, Mr. Wang Guowei knew that it was twelve points and seven or eight points, and today's scholars know one point and two points and say ten twenty points. The students who listened to Wanli's lectures could not help but worry, "His scolding of today's scholars can be said to leave no room, I don't know what kind of disgust today's scholars have?" Zhu Ziqing's diary on June 12, 1933, included Wanli teaching part-time in the History Department of Peking University, which was quite unpopular with the Peking University authorities, "Jiang Gongyi Feiyun is too arrogant, and it is very beneficial to suffer setbacks from him." "Fei Yun, the word of Wanli." Jiang Gong, also known as PujiangQing and a native of Songjiang, is a classmate of Wanli Southeast University and an old friend of Wanli. Pu Jiang please say that Wanli is too proud, and it is good to suffer a little setback. Proud people are bound to have edges and corners, and if the edges and corners are too strong, some people will not be able to stand it. This also shows that Wanli's pride and edges and corners are also famous among friends. Mr. Wanli was a Haining Yanguan, whose ancestor was a descendant of the Zhao clan of the Northern Song Dynasty. Haining, directly under zhejiang province after entering the Republic of China, came under the jurisdiction of Jiaxing after May 1949.

This can explain Mr. Jiang's knowledge. The ancient literature scholar Xue Ke recently wrote "The Old Record of Hushan Sense", which records the story of Mr. Jiang Lihong. In the 1970s and 1980s, Mr. Jiang Lihong and teachers of the department of Chinese of Hangzhou University also participated in the compilation of the "Dictionary of Hanyu Da". In the 1920s and 1930s, Wanli often wrote book reviews in Tianjin's "Ta Kung Pao Literary Supplement", and unceremoniously criticized The writings of Zhao Jingshen, Chen Yanjie, Tao Hongqing, Shen Qianyi, Zhou Qingyun, and others in the fields of ancient literary history, ancient literary theory annotations, pre-Qin classic studies, bibliography, and ancient artifacts, etc., but after reading the second volume of Gu Sui's 1928 typeset edition of "Wei Xin Ci", he was sincerely pleased, and wrote an article in the "Ta Kung Pao" with the "mirror" signed that Gu Sui's words directly followed the Song dynasty poet Xin Jiaxuan, "extraordinary". Wanli and Gu Sui did not know each other, and Gu then came to learn that the "mirror" was Zhao Wanli of the Beiping Beihai Library, and sent Wanli a copy of "No Disease Words". Jiang Lihong is also like this, although he is proud, but when he encounters someone who is really learned, he is very polite again. Once, When Xue Ke was reading Huang Yizhou's "Book of Rites" by The Qing Dynasty, Mr. Jiang Lihong knew about it, and Mr. Jiang poured a basin of cold water on his head: "What kind of books do you have to learn, I advise you not to read them." Xue Ke was not convinced in his heart, and told Mr. Ren Mingshan, "Ren Gong listened to the erection and even shouted 'How can this be the reason' and went away." Arrogance does not save face, and on the other hand, there is true learning, which has nothing to do with Jiaxing, but is a general rule of learning and sexual lovers. Even the high-ranking officials Kong Xiangxi and Song Ziwen were also publicly severely criticized by Fu Sinian, but Wang Sinian, a graduate student trained in his own Institute of History and Language, made a good paper, Fu Sinian repeatedly said that he wanted to write a preface to praise, Wang Shumin did not agree to write the preface five times, Fu Sinian was not angry, and recommended it to the Commercial Press for publication. Fu Sinian is a native of Liaocheng, Shandong. It can be seen that no matter where people in the south of the world, the people who are really learned and have the temperament will have such a humble side that can put down their own figures.
Zhao Wanli Middle School graduated from Jiaxing No. 1 Middle School (then called Provincial No. 2 Middle School), while Jiang Lihong studied at Xiuzhou Middle School. The former was a public school, the latter was run by the church, and it was the two best middle schools in Jiaxing at that time. Zhu Qiao said how the people of Jiaxing are, which is generally true.
