Shakyamuni (c. 566 BC – 486 BC) was the founder of Buddhism.
Ben was the son of King Jingdi of the Kapilavan kingdom in northern India.
Legend has it that when he was 29 years old, he was bitterly touched by the sufferings of life, old age, illness, and death, and was dissatisfied with the theocratic rule of Brahma and the teachings of Brahma creation, so he gave up his royal life, became a monk, and after six years of asceticism, finally realized the true meaning under a Bodhi tree.
He continued to spread the teachings throughout India until his death at the age of 80.
He was revered as "Rulai" and "Buddha" and was enshrined as the Buddha.
